Single stud chaplet :
Single stud chaplet or light duty chaplet used in foundry to support the core in machine moulding and light castings. In this type round head cold rolled sheet thickness 0.35 mm and 0.5 mm. Stem diameter is 1.5 mm.
Double stud chaplet :
we used high quality sheet and fabricated with turned mild steel pins.
Sheet thickness 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm. Pin diameter depends upon the customer
Requirement like 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm. It is suitable for heavy casting. We can also supply triple column and four column chaplets as per your requirement.
Heavy duty chaplet :
We regularly used to support the core to maintain the required wall thickness top and bottom of mould. This type made with round or square head cold rolled sheet with diameter 20mm and 25mm, sheet thickness1mm or 2mm. Stud diameter 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm as per customer requirement. Surface finished with Tin coating.
Nail type chaplet :
Nail type chaplet or Pin type chaplet just like stud type chaplets with extension of the pin to use support the core from side wise and some critical area. In this type there are plain and Perforated, tin coated available.
Box type chaplet :
It is used for thin walled castings. Especially it is suitable for pressure tested castings like pump casing, gearbox housing and engine cases blocks etc., We can supply the range from 4mm to 20mm with sheet thickness 0.14 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.50 mm. The material we use tin seat, cold rolled low carbon Steel, copper and aluminium. we can also supply box chaplets with perforation, length breadth, height, sheet thickness as per customer requirement.
